LLE offers secure and confidential Over-the-Phone Interpretation services. LLE interpreters
are educated in, and sign adherence to, the following regulations, laws, and agreements:
- The Privacy Act of 1974
- Federal Acquisition Regulation
- Code of Federal Regulations, Title 41
- Social Security Administration – Security and Confidentiality of Beneficiary Data
- Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Privacy and Disclosure Clauses
- HIPAA privacy standards
- Internal Confidentiality Standards
- Interpreter Code of Ethics
Background Checks
LLE conducts full criminal background checks on all interpreters. Background checks
include the following components:
- Background check disclosure
- Background check authorization
- Residency and work authorization status (Social Security check)
- 7 years of residence information

U.S. Call Centers
Majority of interpretation is conducted through one of our U.S.-based call centers.
Security is ensured through:
- Secure work environment with keycard access and no visitor policy
- No electronic records of interpretation content and process to eliminate all note-taking
- Fully redundant infrastructure
