Kathleen K. Diamond, President / CEO of LLE®, a global language interpretation and translation firm headquartered in Washington, DC, will be a participant in the Corporate Ambassadors Program in Casablanca, Morocco to discuss leading business issues focused on the theme "Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Growth"

Washington, D.C. (June 4, 2008) -- As a female entrepreneur starting a business in 1979, Kathleen K. Diamond didn't listen to the word "No". Now, with a 30-year track record of innovative business decisions and a passionate commitment to living her dream, Diamond is recognized as a leading U.S. female executive, successful entrepreneur, and business advocate for women around the world. On June 9 and 10, Diamond, along with 2 other top U.S. female executives, will be participating in the International Conference on "Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Growth" in Casablanca, Morocco. Based on their experiences, they will share strategic business development and corporate growth issues as well as those topics specific to the Middle East and North Africa region. More than 200 Moroccan businesswomen and men will participate in this exciting Conference.

The forum is part of a program designed by the U.S. State Department's Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) and the Vital Voices Global Partnership. Association de femmes chefs d'entreprises du Maroc ( AFEM),is the local partner for the Conference. The Corporate Ambassador program was designed to develop women entrepreneurship overseas by connecting high-level female executives from the U.S. with rising businesswomen leaders from other countries. Skills, including business development, marketing, and management, are addressed to equip women to grow their business, provide for their families and successfully create employment opportunities in their own communities.

"I am extremely honored and humbled to participate in such an important and well designed program", says Diamond. "Empowering women across the world with thought leadership, analysis and guidance from diverse business backgrounds is vital for a healthy international economy."
